Bracha, Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin Post
High School Program
Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin is excited
to announce our new one year post high-school
program: B’er Bracha.
B’er Bracha, a program geared towards
girls who grew up in religious homes. These
girls are strong in their yiddishkeit, while
looking for a more creative, spiritual and informal
approach. B’er Bracha offers serious textual
Torah learning with emphasis on tefilah integrated
with creative exploration through art, music
and drama in breathtaking natural surroundings.
Traditional classes such as Chumash, Parsha,
Navi, Halichot bat Yisrael, Women in Tanach,
Jewish History and Hasbarah (Israel in the media),
will be balanced with the somewhat less traditional:
Meditation on the Morning Brachot, Hitbodedut,
Chassidut, Gardening, Meditative Movement, herbal
workshop, and artistic expression.
The kind of girl who will feel most comfortable
in our program is religious, without necessarily
fitting the regular mold. She may be more creative,
perhaps artsy, interested in spirituality, and
nature. She wants a year of learning in Israel,
but is not looking for yet another year of day
school. She is seeking to connect more deeply
with the Holy One and the Holy Land. Our students
may be more of a “free spirit” but
they are modest and well behaved. Most of all,
they want to learn and grow spiritually.
B’er Bracha Post High-school program
is located on the campus of Midreshet B’erot
Bat Ayin, in the village of Bat Ayin in Gush
Etzion, ten minutes from the city of Efrat in
the Judean Hills.
